This involves hiking on unpaved, granite gravel and rocky terrain. The trail becomes more difficult going between the rocky domes but most of the trail is on a good hiking path with some steeper areas. Walking up Enchanted Rock and hiking either Echo Canyon Trail or Turkey Pass Trail will be very slippery when wet. Enchanted Rock itself is extremely steep and after rains, there may be some minimal wading necessary. Hiking boots, walking sticks and water are very important to have.
